Are you a qualified primary school teacher? Are you available for work from Sept 2024 Empowering Learning are working with a school in the Nottingham area (NG9) who are looking to appoint a year one class teacher for the final term of the academic year. The school is a one form entry school and has recently had an OFSTED grade of #39;Good #39; The school are looking for someone who: Has previous teaching experience within KS1 Is willing to contribute towards end of year report writing Can deliver engaging sessions and inspire children Has excellent classroom control Possesses strong behaviour management skills Has a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum The main duties within the role are: Planning and delivering engaging sessions to a year 2 class Working cohesively with the other class teacher in the phase Delegating a classroom TA to work with targeted children Differentiating sessions to meet a range of needs in the class Liaising with the school SENCO around progress of pupils with SEN To apply for the role, please send across your CV via the application page.
